Patent Engineer

PROFILE

Mauritius Klein is a patent engineer, computer scientist, and candidate for German and European patent attorney qualifications. After earning his Master's degree in Computer Science from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, he worked as a research associate at the Munich Center for Machine Learning (MCML) and the LMU Chair of Database Systems and Data Mining. There, he focused on unsupervised machine learning, particularly developing algorithms for clustering mixed-type data in shared subspaces.

During his studies, Mauritius gained a broad range of practical experience in the semiconductor industry, automotive sector, and the office of an interdisciplinary research association. International stays took him to the Universidad de Sevilla and the Free University of Bozen.

Today, Mauritius applies his technical and scientific expertise as a patent attorney candidate, focusing on areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, database systems, software, telecommunications, and computer-implemented inventions.
