Attila Scharfenecker

Attila Scharfenecker is a German and European Patent Attorney. As a physicist with extensive experience in developing radar-based tracking algorithms for airborne radars, such as the NATO AWACS reconnaissance fleet and the MEADS missile defense system, he possesses deep expertise in signal and data processing. These projects often involved collaboration within international teams and assignments abroad. After his tenure at EADS/Airbus Group, he transitioned to a Munich-based patent law firm in 2008, qualifying as a German Patent Attorney in 2011 and as a European Patent Attorney in 2017. His practice focuses on wireless communication and computer networks, including mobile communications, computer-implemented inventions, and satellite-based navigation. He supports clients throughout the patent process, from drafting applications and navigating opposition and appeal proceedings to handling patent infringement cases.
